Pizza sauce is the main ingredient which decides the taste of pizza. This is not the traditional version, but rather the easier one. Though it's the easy version, it is really tasty.
1) Here i have used fresh basil leaves, if using dried version, use only 1 tsp. Also add to sauce when adding oregano.

2 Tbsp. | Garlic,chopped | |
1 Cup | Basil leaves, fresh |
1) Grind all ingredients given under "to grind" to a fine paste.
2) Heat olive oil.
3) Add the paste and cook till thick.
4) Now add in oregano, sugar, salt, pepper powder and chilli flakes. Let it come to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
5) Add in ketchup. Put off fire.
6) Let it cool. Use immediately or store in an airtight bottle in fridge for about 4 days. If you want to store longer, add 1 pinch of sodium benzoate to 1 tsp of boiled and cooled water and mix with sauce and then bottle & refrigerate. You can also store in the freezer without adding sodium benzoate.
To be used on pizza.
