Description

Fruit custard, also known as fruit salad was a popular dessert in India earlier and even now. It was the only dessert years back.

Note

1) I have used dairy cream and not non dairy whipping cream used for cake decorations.
2) Cream gives a nice richness. If not using substitute with milk.
3) I used only 1/4 cup sugar and it was sweet enough for me.
4) Any fruits can be used, except for oranges which will give bitterness to custard. If using pineapple, cook pineapple with a bit of sugar. Cool and then add to custard.
5) I have used vanilla custard powder.
