This is a simple chutney with a predominant garlicy taste.

1 Cup | Beetroot,chopped | |
2 No.s | Whole red chillies | |
Salt to taste | ||
1 Tbsp. | Oil | |
1 Tsp. | Garlic,chopped |
1) Heat oil.
2) Add garlic and fry till light brown.
3) Add chillies after cutting to small pieces & fry lightly.
4) Now add beetroot and stir fry and cook till done.
5) When cool, grind the whole thing with about 1/4 cup of water and salt to taste.
Serve with idli, dosa etc. Or can be served as a dip.
