Chivda or mixture is an assortment of different ingredients which can a have spicy, sweet taste with a nice crunch. Also chivda is healthier as its not deep fried.
1) Do not store this for more than 3 weeks, as the chivda will loose its crispiness.
2) There is no hard and fast rule for sugar and chilli powder. Adjust according to taste

2.5 Cups | Cornflakes |
1) Heat a kadhai and fry cornflakes in 1 tbsp. ghee till it turns crispy. remove and keep aside.
2) Heat remaining ghee and fry cashews till golden brown. remove and add to cornflakes.
3) Now fry peanuts and keep aside with cornflakes.
4) Fry bengal gram dal & add to cornflakes.
5) Then fry raisins till it puffs up and add to cornflakes.
6) In the same ghee,fry curry leaves till crisp. Then add chilli powder, chaat masala and powdered sugar.
7) Then immediately add the fried and kept aside ingredients. Mix everything well on a low flame. do the taste test and remove from fire.
8) Store in an airtight container.
Serve as evening snack.
