This is a simple tea cake with the flavor of cinnamon.
1) Try to beat the wet ingredients well till light & fluffy to make a light & airy cake.
2) This cake will store in an airtight container for 2 to 3 days.

0.25 Cup | Butter (unsalted) | |
1 Tsp. | Vanilla essence | |
150 Gms. | Caster sugar | |
0.33 Cup | Milk | |

For dusting | ||
2 Tsp. | Butter,melted (unsalted) | |
0.5 Tsp. | Cinnamon powder | |
1 Tbsp. | Caster sugar |
1) Grease and line with butter paper a 7 inch cake tin.
2) Beat all the wet ingredients, except milk till light & fluffy.
3) Sift flour with baking powder & salt.
4) Pre-heat oven to 180 degree celsius.
5) Add little milk to the butter mix. Then add flour mix. Continue doing so till all the flour is added. The last addition should be flour.
6) Bake cake in the pre-heated oven for about 30 minutes. Start checking after 25 minutes. If a skewer or tooth pick inserted into the cake comes out clean, cake is done.
7) Mix all dusting ingredients together. Brush on cake immediately after taking it out of the oven.
Serve preferably warm or atleast at room temperature
