This is a filling dish which can be had as breakfast or dinner dish.
1) Egg is optional. If you are a vegetarian, you can omit egg, then these dosas will not be very soft.

| 0.25 Cup | Onion, chopped finely | |

| 1 Tsp. | Cumin seeds | |
| 1 Tsp. | Chillies green finely chopped | |
| 1 Pinch | Turmeric powder | |
| 2 Tbsp. | Ghee (clarified butter) | |
1) Whisk wheat with salt and turmeric powder.
2) Add water (approximately less than 1/2 cup).
Mix well without lumps. Or you can even run in a blender to remove lumps.
3) Add egg and rest of the ingredients, except ghee.
4) Heat a pan or griddle. Smear little ghee.
5) Pour a ladleful of batter. Spread lightly.
6) Cook with a lid on.
7) When half cooked, drizzle some ghee, let it cook a little more. Then flip over and cook for a few seconds more.
8) Remove and serve hot.
Can be had hot as it is or with chutney.
