This is an ideal evening snack which is also healthy.
1) I used thicker variety red beaten rice, which is much healthier than the thin white beaten rice.
2) Adjust jaggery according to the sweetness desired.
3) Shelf life of about 20 days if stored in fridge. Keep outside for sometime to bring to room temperature or microwave to warm before serving.

1) Roast beaten rice without oil till it becomes crisp. keep aside.
2) Heat 2tsp.ghee/ clarified butter.
3) Fry sesame seeds and coconut bits seperately. Keep aside.
3) Melt jaggery with about 1/4 cup of water. Strain for impurities.
4) Reheat jaggery.
5) Add beaten rice, sesame seeds, grated coconut, remaining ghee and coconut bits. Keep cooking stirring continuosly for about 7 to 8 minutes.
6) Add cardamom powder. Mix well. Remove from fire.
7) Bottle when cool.
Can be served as it is or with cut pieces of banana.
