This is a spicy banana fritter most commonly available in Kerala. A particular type of banana, known as Bhaji kaya is used for making this fritter.
1) The banana i used weighed around 150gms.
2) You may also cut banana into half (horizontally) to make it smaller.
3) Hot oil is added to make bhaji crisper.

1) Peel and slice bananas into thin & broad slices, vertically.
2) Mix all ingredients together, except oil for frying. Do not add all the water at one go. Add only little by little to make a lump free batter.
3) Heat oil for frying.
4) Dip banana slices in batter and deep fry in oil till golden brown.
Serve hot as it is.
