Ivy gourd in this particular recipe is cooked adding Garcinia cambogia as one would cook fish.
1) Ivy gourd should be cooked, but it should not turn mushy.

| Grind coarsely | ||
| 0.25 Cup | Coconut,grated | |
| 2 No.s | Green chillies | |
| 2 No.s | Shallots | |
| 3 No.s | Garlic cloves | |
| 0.5 Tsp. | Cumin seeds | |
| 0.5 Tsp. | Turmeric powder | |
1) Grind all the ingredients given under "grind coarsely" coarsely.
2) Soak garcinia cambogia in 3 tbsp water.
3) Slice ivy gourd.
4) Mix all the ingredients together and cook on a low flame with lid on till ivygourd is cooked.
Serve with rice.
