This dip or sauce is served with appam (hoppers) & idiappam (string hoppers). This is a delight for people with sweet tooth.

1) Mix coconut milk while cooking.

1) Melt jaggery with water. Strain for impurities.
2) Boil jaggery syrup with 2nd extract coconut milk, cardamom, salt and jaggery. Let it boil for about 5 minutes on low flame, stirring all the while. Add dry ginger powder. Switch off flame.
3) Remove and add 1st extract coconut milk. Mix well.
Serve hoppers dunked in this coconut milk.
