This is a simple & easy dish to prepare.

1 Pinch | Asafoetida |

1 Tsp. | Corriander powder |
1 Tsp. | Chilli powder |

0.5 Tsp. | Garam masala powder |
3 Tbsp. | Corriander leaves chopped fine |
1) Cut potatoes and capsicum into large chunks. Boil potatoes till cooked. Not mashed, but cooked.
2) Heat oil. Splutter cumin.
3) Add onion and fry till golden brown.
4) Add turmeric, corriander, chilli, asafoetida and garam masala powder. Fry.
5) Add tomatoes chopped finely. Saute and cook till nicely mashed.
6) Add salt to taste.
7) Add potatoes and capsicum and cook on a low fire with lid. Do not add water. Capsicum should be cooked, but not over cooked.
8) Remove from fire and garnish with corriander leaves.
Serve hot with chapathy.
