Note

1) Normal loose jacket (country) oranges cannot be used for this juice. Use cut oranges like the imported ones.
2) Can be kept in the fridge for 2 weeks.
3) If you think orange peel is very bitter, cut off , either whole or partially the skin.

10  Tbsp.Sugar

2  SprigsMint leaves (optional)

Method

1) Freeze orange for atleast 6 hours or overnight.
2) Boil sugar with water.
3) After sugar is dissolved, add lime juice. Just bring to a boil. Remove from fire. Remove the scum/ impurities (white foam) that rise on top of sugar syrup.
4) Let sugar syrup cool to room temperature.
5) Cut orange after directly taking from freezer.
Remove seeds. Blend with mint(if using) to form juice (with skin). If necessary, to help in blending add sugar syrup. Strain juice. Add strained juice to sugar syrup. Mix well.
6) Bottle and refrigerate. Can be kept in the fridge for 2 weeks.

Serving Suggestions

Serve cold. Serve as it is. No dilution required.
