This is a traditional sweet/ snack made in kerala households as an evening snack, specially for hungry kids. Beaten rice and jaggery has a number of health benefits.
1) Usually, red thick variety of beaten rice is used. If unavailable, substitute with thin white variety which does not have health benefits as the red one.
2) Adding banana is optional.

0.25 Cup | Jaggery grated |
3 Tbsp. | Water (approximate) |
1 Pinch | Cardamom powder |
2 No.s | Banana,cut into roundels |
1) Melt jaggery with water. Strain for impurities.
2) Add all the ingreients to the beaten rice, except banana and crush and mix with hand.
3) Lastly add banana.
Serve at room temperature.
