Podimas is popular in Tamilnadu. Podi means powder in tamil. This dish is normally crumbled or scrambled. In this version we are using fish.
1) Use any firm fleshy fish with less bones. I used seer/ king fish.

0.75 Cup | Coconut grated | |
2 Tsp. | Chilli powder | |
1 Tsp. | Corriander powder | |
1 Tsp. | Garam masala powder | |

To cook fish | ||
500 Gms. | Fish | |
2 Tsp. | Chilli powder | |
0.5 Tsp. | Turmeric powder | |

1) Cook fish with all the ingredients given under "to cook fish".
2) Heat oil.
3) splutter mustard.
4) Add whole chilli, curry leaves, ginger, garlic, onion and shallots and fry till onion is golden brown in color.
5) Add chilli and corriander powder.
6) Immediately add tomatoes and saute after adding salt till tomatoes are well done.
7) Add garam masala powder.
8) Add fish and coconut grated and stir fry after adjusting salt, till everything is mixed well.Fish pieces should crumble a little.
9) Remove from fire.
10) Add lime juice and a bit of coconut oil on fish. mix well.
Serve with rice or chapathy.
