Description

Maize plant produces green stalks which produce corn cobs. Pop corn is the dried form of corn kernels. Sweet corn is a variety of corn with high sugar content. Corn kernels with it's yellow color is visually appealing. Baby corn is harvested while the corns are small and immature.
Chaat masala is a spice blend consisting of black salt, chilli powder, cumin seeds and dry mango powder. Is available in supermarkets.

Note

1) You can use ready made corn kernels (frozen) or cut the kernels from the cob. To cut kernels, keep the corn in upright position and cut out the kernels using a sharp knife.
2) Add chaat masala only just before serving, since it has salt and will drain out water from the rest of the ingredients.

0.5  CupOnion chopped finely
2  No.sGreeen chillies,chopped
1  Tbsp.Lime juice
2  Tsp.Chaat masala
2  Tbsp.Corriander leaves chopped fine

Method

1) Steam corn kernels lightly.
2) Chop mangoes finely.
3) Mix all the ingredients, except chaat masala, together.

Serving Suggestions

Serve at room temperature or chilled.
