Description

Garlic belongs to the family of onion and shallots. Ginger garlic paste is a common ingredient in Indian cooking. China is the largest producer of garlic followed by India. Chinese garlic is much bigger than Indian garlic. Garlic has a strong pungent flavor. Garlic has health benefits too. Helps in lowering cholestrol.

Note

1) Do not add water to grind garlic.
2) Use a clean spoon to take the paste from the bottle.
3) Oil and salt act as a natural preservative.
4) When using this paste keep in mind that salt has been added to garlic paste.
5) Touching the garlic paste with hands, will spoil and also may discolor it.

0.25  Tsp.Salt
1.5  Tsp.Oil (flavorless)

Method

1) Peel and chop garlic to small pieces. Dry with a kitchen towel.
2) Add the rest of the ingredients and pulse in a mixer till the garlic is crushed. Then grind to a paste of your desired consistency.
3) Transfer to a clean dry bottle and refrigerate.
4) Can be kept in the fridge for about 10 to 15 days.
