Description

Sambols are fresh or cooked relishes that enliven Sri Lankan meals of rice and curry.

Note

1) Only fresh grated coconut and fresh curry leaves will give the real taste.

0.5  CupCoconut grated
0.5  CupCurry leaves
2  No.sGreen chillies chopped
  Salt to taste
5  No.sShallot, chopped
2  No.sGarlic, chopped
1  Tsp.Ginger, chopped
1  Tsp.Black pepper corns
1  Tsp.Lime juice

Method

1) Grind all the ingredients together with as little or no water at all. Adjust seasoning.

Serving Suggestions

Serve at room temperature with rice .
