Kahwa or Kahwah is the green tea preparation of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Kashmir in India. Traditionally, kahwah is prepared in a brass kettle known as a samovar. A samovar consists of a central cavity, in which live coals are placed keeping the tea perpetually hot. Around the fire-container there is a space for water to boil. In Kashmir kahwah is served in tiny shallow cups with crushed almonds or walnuts available locally. This tea is supposed to relieve headache.
1) If Kashmiri green tea is not available, use usually available green tea.
