Boiled corn can be mixed with a range of exciting ingredients to make a great monsoon treat.
1) If using salted butter be careful while adding salt.
2) Remember that cheese has salt.
3) Italian herbs are available in dried form in supermarkets.

1. Fill a vessel with water and bring to boil.
2. Add the corn and salt and cook for 10 to 12 minutes on a medium flame or until corn is tender.
3. Add butter and salt. Toss well.
5. Divide the corn mixture in to 4 equal portions. Add the required ingredients according to the variation you choose and serve piping hot.
VARIATIONS

Masala Corn

Toss the boiled corn with 1 tsp chaat masala and 3/4 tsp chilli powder. Squeeze of lime juice Mix well and serve hot.
Cheesy Corn

Toss the boiled corn with 1 tbsp cheese powder (readily available) or grated cheddar cheese and 1 tsp freshly ground pepper powder and mix well. Serve hot.
Italian Corn

Toss the boiled corn with 1.5 tbsp Italian herbs and mix well. Serve hot.
Serve hot as an accompaniment or starter.
