This spicy, garlic prawn recipe from Spain makes a tasty dish which is also very quick to prepare. The Spanish cook and serve Gambas Pil Pil in individual terracotta dishes, one dish per person.
1) This recipe is not for calorie conscious as it contains lots of butter and oil.
2) If parsley is not available, substitute with any fresh herb like corriander leaves etc.
3) The prawns used here is of medium size. Do not use tiny prawns.

1) Place the saucepan over a medium heat, add butter and oil and allow butter to melt. 2) Then add the garlic, chillies, red chilli powder and salt. Bring it to a boil. Cook for a few seconds more.
3) Now add the prawns. Let them cook for 3 minutes or so and turn them over to cook on the other side for another 4 minutes.
4) Sprinkle chopped parsley and serve sizzling and piping hot.
It can be served with some crusty bread to soak up the spicy sauce.
