1) Raisins can be substituted with dates. Dates are sweeter than raisins.
2) Dont fry eggs. It will turn hard and rubbery.

1.Boil quail eggs. Drop into cold water and then peel.
2.Soak seedless raisins/ dates in coconut vinager for 15 minutes.
3.Then grind raisins and vinegar with turmeric and chilly powder.
4. Heat oil. Splutter mustard seeds. Fry garlic and ginger till brown.
5.Then add raisin paste and fry till oil seperates. Add salt and asafoetida. Add water. Bring to a boil. Then add boiled eggs & let it heat through.
6. Remove from fire. Bottle when cool.
Serve as an accompaniment to rice.
