Description

Affogato is an Italian dessert. In Italian, Affogatto means, drowned. It is one of the easiest desserts to make.

Note

1) Liquor or liqueur is an optional ingredient.
2) This tastes best with vanilla flavored ice cream.
3) Adding cinnamon will give a slight intense taste, so add only if you like that taste.
4) This qty will be a little watery. If you do not want it so watery, reduce the ingredients, except icecream by half.

1  ScoopVanilla ice cream
60  Ml.Water
2  Tsp.Instant coffee powder
2  Tsp.Brandy / coffee liqueur
3  Tsp.Sugar
GARNISH
1  Tiny pinchCinnamon powder

Method

1) Boil water in a pan with sugar & then add coffee powder. Mix well. Put off fire.
2) Add the brandy / coffee liqueur & warm lightly.
3) Pour coffee mix into dessert bowl or coffee cup.
4) Add vanilla ice cream scoop to the coffee mix.
5) Serve immediately garnished with cinnamon powder.

Serving Suggestions

Serve immediately. Ice cream should not melt completely.
