Description

Lemon butter garlic fish is a mild pan seared fish recipe. Here we have used fish fillets. Normal whole fish can also be used.

Quantity Name
500  Gms.Fish fillets
1  PinchTurmeric powder
1  Tbsp.Garlic chopped fine
1  Tbsp.Butter, unsalted
1  Tbsp.Olive oil
  Salt to taste
2  Tsp.Lime juice
2  Tsp.Pepper powder

Method

1) Apply salt, turmeric powder and 1/2 of lemon juice to fish and keep aside to marinate for 1/2 an hour.
2) Heat butter and oil together.
3) Saute garlic till light brown in color.
4) Add fish fillets and fry on both sides till done.
5) Remove to a serving plate & drizzle with the remaining lemon juice.

Serving Suggestions

Serve with a salad or as an accompaniment with herbed garlic rice.
