2) If health conscious, use only boiled egg whites. In that case take 4 eggs.

4) Cabbage or spinach shredded or carrot grated can be used instead of lettuce or in combination with lettuce.

1) Boil eggs.
2) Mash slightly the boiled eggs into small chunks using a fork. Stir in the butter and mayonnaise and mix well to combine.
3) Wash and pat dry lettuce leaves. Shred and keep aside.
4) In a pan, heat oil and saute onions and garlic till brown.
5) When done, add chilli flakes, nutmeg and pepper powder.
6) Lastly add lettuce and warm lightly.
7) Add the sauteed ingredients to the egg mixture and mix well.
8) Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
9) Toast the bread till crispy.
10) Spoon in the egg salad mixture. Cut sandwiches into triangles. Serve
Serve hot.
