One ingredient that gives zing to snacks, tandoori dishes etc. is chaat masala. Chaat masala is a spice blend consisting of black salt, chilli powder, cumin seeds and dry mango powder. There are as many recipes for chaat masala as there are households in India. Chaat masala is available in supermarkets. Adding chaat masala to cut fruits takes it to another level specially for spice lovers.
1) If chaat masala is added before hand juices from fruits will ooze out and it will become soggy and will loose its freshness.
2) Chilli powder is optional.

1) Place the papaya, kiwi fruit, pomegranate, orange, apple, pineapple and grapes in a large bowl. Keep in fridge to chill for 1 hour thoroughly.
2) Just before serving, sprinkle chilli powder and chaat masala over the fruit.
3) Add lemon juice and toss well to mix.
4) Serve immediately after garnishing with mint leaves.
Serve as a snack.
