Note

1. To make tomato puree, make a cross at the bottom of the tomato with a knife. Add to boiling water. Put off fire. Remove tomatoes after 10 mts. Let it cool. De-skin & also remove seeds. Chop roughly & blend in a mixie.

Method

1) Cut paneer and capsicum into fingers.
2) Cut onions into semi circles.
3) Puree tomatoes.
4) Heat oil in a kadhai. Add jeera. Let it turn golden.
5) Add onions and cook till soft.
6) Add ginger - garlic paste and stir for 30 seconds.
7) Add turmeric, salt, dry mango powder,corriander powder, garam masala, chilli powder and dry fenugreek leaves.
8) Add pureed tomatoes and stir till puree turns dry & oil separates.
9)Add 1/4 cup water mix well.
10) Add capsicum and stir for 1 minute.
11)Add paneer. Let it come to a boil. Mix well, but gently, taking care not to break paneer. 12) Reduce heat and add cream, stirring gently, ensuring that it does not curdle. Remove from heat and serve hot .

Serving Suggestions

Serve in a small kadhai. Goes well with rotis.
