Description

This is a simple beef dish with the added goodness of cabbage.

Note

1) I personally like to add lots of cabbage, its entirely upto your taste.
2) If beef has little fat, the stir fry will be tastier.
3) You can add green chillies slit or chopped.
4) Coconut oil can be substituted with any other oil.
5) For a gravy version, increase the qty of corriander and chilli powder. Then add, about 1 cup boiling water when cooking cabbage. Or you can add beef stock.

400  Gms.Beef cubed
  Salt to taste
1  Tsp.Chilli powder
2  Tsp.Corriander powder
1  Tsp.Meat masala
1  Tbsp.Ginger garlic crushed
1  Tsp.Vinegar
0.25  Tsp.Turmeric powder
1  CupCabbage shredded
2  Tbsp.Garlic sliced
1  Tbsp.Ginger sliced finely
1  Tsp.Chilli powder
1  Tsp.Pepper powder
0.5  Tsp.Garam masala powder
  Salt to taste
1  No.Onion sliced thin
1  Tbsp.Coconut oil
1  Tsp.Fennel seeds
1  Tsp.Corriander powder
1  PinchTurmeric powder

Method

1) Cook beef with all the ingredients given under "for beef" till well done. Keep aside.
2) Heat coconut oil.
3) Add fennel seeds and immediately add onion, ginger and garlic. This is to prevent fennel burning. Saute till onion is golden brown.
4) Add turmeric, corriander, pepper and chilli powder. Stir for a second.
5) Add cabbage and beef and let it cook after adding salt. keep covered.
6) When cabbage is cooked, add garam masala powder and stir fry , till curry is dry.

Serving Suggestions

Serve with rice, chappathy etc.
